The Fund for American Studies (TFAS) will award a full scholarship to a Latvian citizen to participate in the 2024 TFAS Academic Internship Program in Washington, D.C. This scholarship fund is named in honor of former TFAS Professor George Viksnins.


The scholarship covers tuition, housing, health insurance and the costs associated with applying for a visa. Scholarship awardees are responsible for funding their travel to the U.S. and  living expenses while in the U.S.
